That's true. I definitely wouldn't feel so relaxed blithering on about nonsense if there were a lot of active new people all the time.
Which is a little sad, because Firn really needs new active users!

Well I don’t think kofk was ever in it for profit. Firn and Starkad created this place had a hangout for like minded people. It’s nothing like gaiaonline or something lol.

Gaia was probably the only avi forum in it for a profit. Everything else that stayed around was because their owner loved the site very much and the lower users that continued to show up.

Well, I do remember reading a few posts by Firn saying that KofK lost money and she needed all the support she could get -that's why the Queen's Gift items were introduced, and the top monthly posters, trying to get more people to contribute.
I'm just not often in a place where I can donate.

Kind of a hermit irl, outside my family. Don't exactly have a lot of social pull I could use to bring new people in.

Gaia is still around, even after the whole bankruptcy thing and all the changes. XD I’m glad that kofk has been able to survive even with less active members. I prefer kofk over Gaia any day.

I've never tried Gaia. Don't think I will though either; KofK is enough!

It's wild to me how much money people dump on Gaia lol. I play it every so often but just to fish while I'm panicking about homework. I like how you can buy whole outfits there now. How do you feel about neopets?
