Not to mention she was really uncomfortable :\
We weren't allowed to wear pants - only skirts.
So she couldn't even wear her PE pants because they wanted girls in skirts.
I told my mom about it and she was like "I'd like to see his ass wear a wet sticky skirt all day >BU"

This school was really...stupid.
Christian school and girls were only allowed to wear pants in PE.
Couldn't even wear pants under skirts if it was freezing.

I think japanese schools allow the gym pants if its too cold or something is spilt on the skirt... i think... saw it a few times in anime soo i don't know if its true or not...
Japaneses schools actually make people die their natural hair pure black to 'fit in' and it causes emotional and psycological scars on these kids.
they don't allow dying one's hair unless it's from a natural lighter color to dark black. =/ stupid rule.. I've seen so many news articles and such on this.

I honestly don't know a lot about Japanese schools...
I would love to learn more about Japan in general.
I know they don't wear the bikini bottoms like they do in anime.
Or at least I read that girls wear shorts that go to their knees, I think.
I did find it weird the girls' uniforms were so revealing but at the same time, it's cute.
Now the boys need to wear them >8u/

You could dye your hair as long as it was a natural color.
I don't think that's right.
Kids get very little freedom, at least let them dye their hair.
It makes them feel good knowing they get to make decisions.

o3o I think they do wear regular bikinis at the beaches. They even have a nude beach there somewhere... o3o
And I heard the girls who wear shorts like that, are the tomboy types that use "boku" when talking about themselves instead of watashi or atashi.
My school had a dress code. Shorts/Skirts and so on had to be fingertip length, hair can be died but only natural colors (spray on fake colors are only on spirit day and sport days and they have to wash out for the next day) Tank top straps have to be 2 finger widths big. No facial piercings. No pants that drop below a certain point, pants must cover the butt crack.
I think there were more, but those are the ones I remember.

I'm pretty sure all the girls wear shorts now 8u
We had to wear polo shirts and skirts for girls and slacks for boys.
Had to wear certain types of shoes.
Boys weren't allowed to wear jewelry.
No abnormal hairstyles or colors.

I was too poor to get those clothes in the commercials.. all my stuff was actually mom's or from a thrift store QnQ
rarely I'd go to old navy or walmart. Pervert would buy me the Hot Topic stuff.
