Sorry about that, I tend to get depresses when it seems someone is annoyed at me. I think it come from me being a sensitive person and the fact, there have been people that have hurt me for it or whatever.

Its good to see you two back. I hope we can chats more. I really like to chat with the art peoples.

I like spamming when I'm searching for something. Like faeries or events and such.

OMG...The weirdest thing happened today!!!
I went to my Japanese class this morning, and right before class started a huge bang occurred and everything was shaking. At first I thought that a Semi had run into my class building. (then I remembered there were no roads around this particular building)
Well, we found out it was an earthquake. Only a 4.5 though. Anyway, it was weird because my state (mainly in the areas I've lived) NEVER have earthquakes! Hardly even tremors! It was pretty interesting.

I don't think you should just quit contests. esp if other people still enjoy entering..
Maybe take a vote to see if others want to continue...

I just needed to vent about my frustrations...
I hate that I can not draw as my minds eyes sees it//
I'm so annoyed that my husband will not get me Photoshop also(which I really want)

I hope you will eventually get Photoshop. In the mean time there might be some free programs for you to use and enjoy.

Thanks.. I do have the smaller photoshop program called elements
but it doesn't have the pen tool I want to use... err...

I think KC is right I just need a break I think I take things to seriously
I feel bad cause I waste so much time and I am sure at my age
I should be a professional by now but I don't practice enough

I don't use Photoshop much. When I want to put a lot of effort into a piece of art I'll constantly switch around using Photoshop and SAI together.
I got the Master CS5 Adobe Suite. It's not easily obtained, even for just one of the programs. I only wanted Flash, but in order to get it I had to get it all.

I took a break from art as well, and I'm feeling a bit better about it again. I feel that I'm not as good as the competition, so often it might be a waste of my time, so I only enter contests that I like what I'm drawing. It's like practice. That way I get something out of it.

I would love to get the entire suite!
I think I going to focus on education for the next while and
not worry about drawing for profit.. and just try to get my art to
the level I would like to be and really just educate myself on the difference
in the styles

To be honest I don't really know the differences and just draw something
to be my own and not really think about style so I guess a lot of times it looks
out of place because I tried hard to not copy someone else s style and develop my own but that just makes me off... and weird..

I guess I am too stressed about being an individual and not copying
I don't know what elements I need to add to be consistent in any given style...

I really need to take a new outlook on my drawing,..
I guess it just takes time...
