Kingdom of Knuffel

Eh, everyone has their own ideas for pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce, and tomato sauce in general, right?
I use tomato paste, tomato puree (I only once did it from fresh tomatoes; not worth the fuss!), fresh garlic cloves, one or two roasted garlic cloves, dried oregano, frozen basil, dried majoram, caraway seeds (sometimes I grind first, sometimes I don't), a pinch of cumin, a little extra-virgin-olive-oil, a pinch of roasted cloves...
when the weather is hot I leave out the olive oil, cloves, caraway seeds, and roasted garlic and instead use thyme, tarragon, lemon zest, and powdered lapsi.

So it's all just a matter of taste, yes?

Neat. Yeah, I just get pizza that's already got the sauce made. So I just look at the ingredients to make sure they're aren't any oranges and I'm good. lol.

I loooove garlic though. there's never enough garlic.

You could always sprinkle some chopped fresh garlic on the pizza before you bake it, add in some more!

We had salmon last night and it was amazing. Garlic and lemon. Good times.

OOoh, salmon! Yum! Sounds delicious and amazing. We were not so fancy. Last night was an oregano-and-spinach dish, cooked with a white sauce and some cheese sprinkled on it over kasha.
It, too, had garlic.
But yeah, simple one-dish meal and nothing quite so delicious as salmon. Yum!

Do you guys eat much salmon? It's one of my favorites.

We do when it's cheap enough and still looks good, but that's one of the more expensive things so not usually.
Sometimes a fishing trip will happen and be lucky and then we all rejoice, lol.

I love salmon. We also don't eat it very often. When I go to restaurants I often order it though. lol.

I can't wait until we can afford to keep the fridge stocked again.
