I never buy extra from the knuffel, the only time I did that I bought them with my extra account so that they would not be here.
It was back when the second generation Fire one was not selling at all. :}

Wow really? How do you resist the lure of the knuffel?
I like to have one of each stage for each of them, plus one for each of the elements for digging in, plus one that I split evenly so there's 19 points in each element, plus a couple extra for trading later just in case, and then if I like the knuffel I want more anyhow to give them fun names and make up stories about their family reunions and the squabbles they have at work and fighting over who gets the last cupcake and whose turn it is to prep the apples for the cider press, and stuff like that.

I am a massive collector, I have learned how to restrain myself or else I would always be broke. :}

A hundred of the same.
That's gonna be impressive.
And expensive!
I'm constantly buying knuffel, but right now I'm quite focused on regular ones.
I'm only growing one wild knuffel at a time.
Otherwise my knuffel list becomes overwhelming.

Yeah.... there is that.
It's hard to remember to keep enough

on hand.
Have to save enough for the apple/cupcake/room decorations for each knuffel, and the cost of the knuffel itself, and then the ChipChip Fountain, Crystal ball, and Firefly Jar are pricey too.
So it's better if I can get a knuffel, level it up to 30, release it and buy it back, and *then* level it all the way up to 100 because that usually covers the costs.
And anything you find digging in Candy Island then becomes profit instead of "save me from debt as I go after the next knuffel"....

That's an interesting approach. So you release them while you still can buy the same again?
At level 30 you have already earned their price back, probably...

Yes.
It costs ~2k to buy a knuffel.
So you start out at -2k.
Then you level them up to level 30.
That's +3k, so now you're at +1k.
Then you release it back, so that's +3k, so you're at +4k.
Then you buy it back again, so that's -2, so you're at +2k.
Then you level it up to 100, so that's +10k, so you're at +12k.
Then you buy it an apple and a cupcake, and flooring and wallpaper, so that's about -3.5k, so you're at +8.5k.
Then you buy it whichever of the 3 (fireflies, fountain, oracle orb) you want and a couple furnishings, so that's -5.5k, so you end at: +3k
And the +3k is enough to buy your next knuffel.
Rinse and repeat, with the ability to throw in a wild knuffel every few regular knuffel!

I’m very good at resisting. That and I like to collect only one of everything because I’m OCD and I hate having more of one thing lol. That and think of all the pages you’d have to go through lol. XD

It's not so bad! There's sorting, you see. Firn or maybe Starkad created those wonderful filters and sort options to deal with Knuffel.
And I love seeing the rows of those cute faces
