Yeah, I don't often do it with sourdough starter. Usually stick with dried yeast. :)

How often do you usually make donuts?

Eh, about twice a year, I guess?

That’s not very often at all. I would be sad if I only got donuts twice a year. Though I’d probably be a little healthier. Lol.

Doughnuts aren't exactly my favorite desert, is all. What I love are cinnamon rolls, and pies.
Those I make much more often.

(I used to make doughnuts more often, when I was still a child living at home. I'd swap chores with my brother and agree to make doughnuts if he'd do the vacuuming or whatever it was I wanted to get out of doing. Lol, why he never just made them himself...)

They’re one of my favorites. Lol. I love them. Especially the custard filled ones.
There aren’t very many pies that I like. I’m very picky. Cinnamon rolls are fabulous. I need more of those in my life.

That’s funny. Maybe he just didn’t like making them? I know there are things I don’t like to cook.

I know right? I feel like my neighbor isn’t going to have any yeast. Lol.
Also glad I don’t have to deal with a wood stove. Gas stoves are hard enough.

Usually people just ask for a cup of sugar too ;) XD
Just goes to show how different the times are. He was able to go to neighbours and ask for food, while if we try we would be rejected! (depending on the neighbour though!)

I have a gas stove, I think it's way better than electric ones as you have better control of the tempurature.

I don’t talk to my neighbors at all.

Eh. I really prefer electric ones. I don’t like gas at all. It’s stinky.
