I picked Ryoma 8U Lobster prince ftw. I don't like any of the short haired ladies. I did play sacred stones, which I think is where Amelia shows up. I recruited her but never even bothered training her. I typically dislike armoured units.

I ended up thawing some bolognese we still had in the freezer yesterday evening, that was a good way to satisfy my pasta cravings after our lasagna discussion :)
When we cook bolognese, we always make more and freeze the rest, it's so handy to just have around.
Turns into a quick and easy meal then, just pop the frozen sauce into a pot to thaw and boil some pasta. Compared to the hours of cooking it needs (or at least I prefer to give it) initially :D

These smart ovens and stuff like that are not just expensive though, they're also pretty dangerous. A lot of these internet of things devices can be easily hacked or they malfunction if they loose internet connection or there is a problem with the servers - I would never want this for a device that can burn down the house!

Can I pick again already? Not sure when I picked yesterday, but for me it's morning now, so hopefully it counts as a new day - I'll take 2.

That does sound really easy. My parents do that with home made stock so we have containers of stock in the freezer ready for any soup based meal. I don't think automated homes are the norm yet so I haven't heard too many horror stories about smart ovens. I have heard about faulty slow cookers that set themselves on fire :D or was it automatic mixers. I wouldn't mind so much, turn it on 5 - 10 minutes before I get in the door, the oven is temperature monitored as well. I would need fire safety checks every where.

I know smart lights are a thing now and also remote thermostats both sound cool. I would like to not be freezing right now :D

Oh, I bet doing that with soup stock is really handy as well! I have to admit, I've never made my own soup stock so far, but I've thought about it.
Generally, having things in the freezer for times when you don't want to shop and cook (or have no time) is awesome. Feels so much better to just take your homecooked food out of the freezer than always having to buy ready made stuff or order or eat out.
We also freeze slices of - hm, what to call it? hearty pie? a big quiche? basically a dough topped with lots of cheese, onions, egg, cream, ham and whatever veggies we want at the time - a lot. That's especially nice if you just want a quick snack for one, just pop a slice in the microwave.

I haven't heard anything about ovens in particular, or at least I can't remember. But so much about washing machines (allowing hospitals to be hacked), things to automatically water your plants or feed your pets while you're away (they just stopped because of server issues -.-), things like that. Basically, many of these things get thrown on the market with no regard for reliability and security.
And don't get me started on the privacy issues that come with them! \endrant - sorry, these issues make me angry

The thermostat doesn't need to be remote controlled and internet connected to stop you from freezing, a good old thermostat which is set to sensible settings would do the job just fine ;)

How's peoples days? we paid off the lounge :D it gets delivered on Friday. So tomorrow I shall do some floor/lounge room cleaning. Though I may do some today.

Pondering to go for a walk later. The weather's sorta weird, it's cloudy/bit overcast but also sunny in other spots and there was a sunshower before.

The weather here is really nice too~ It's currently cloudy so it's really cool but not too cold. The perfect sweater weather . But it makes me really sleepy orz.

We had some rain and now it's kinda more sunny.

I like rain too! But it makes it harder to go home ~.~. Also, congrats Lady River on being the first poster for this page!
