I see isekai slow life a lot too. And I downloaded Magicabin bc of the ads lol. XD

There was a period that every other ad I saw was for Isekai slow life. If someone plays it, they've got to tell me if it's any good.

The game I've gotten obsessed with is Honkai: Star Rail. I downloaded it on a whim, but...yeah. Literally 70% of all my free time gone in an instant. I can't stop playing it.

And that’s why I won’t download Honkai or genshin lol. XD I don’t want to get sucked in.

I just wanna get isekai slow life to see if it looks the way it’s advertised. It’s practically NEVER like it’s advertised lol.

Right? There are so many games that aren't even related to their ads. It's baffling how that continues to fly.

Well, just know that Honkai is so addictive because it's good. I don't regret my life choices. XD

Yeah and now that I’m seeing Magicabin ads again, the graphics and such are nothing like the game lol.

Where are people who throw money at it, and there's...three characters that do require money to unlock, but very much F2P
Hell, with daily activities you can earn VIP points and actually get the VIP characters that way
Others simply need time, how much varies from character to character, and luck
Lulu in particular is notorious for taking forever to unlock, due to how many times you need to cross paths with her in roaming and the rng involved with crossing paths with her

Everything does start off manual, but as you rank up you unlock automatic actions. There is a Little Helper they give a free week to once you hit a certain rank, and is $.99/week after. But entirely optional
And you're not punished for ignoring entire parts of the game if you don't want to deal with them

Well that’s always been the problem with games, a lot of games want revenue so they release limited and exclusive stuff that you can only get if you pay. That’s just the name of the game lol.

But like I said, there's three (might actually be two) characters you can't unlock without spending money
Certainly more costumes lost out on but those are bonus boost items you don't need so at the same time no loss if you miss out

I might try it then, though I honestly don't need any more game to do.

There's a balance between wanted revenue and alienating most of your players though. There was one game in particular where the whole point was collecting outfits, which was totally impossible, like 80% of the whole game was behind a paywall in the end. It was pretty frustrating and so now I'm wary.
Because I'm a hoarder.

Hence the reason why I refuse to play genshin lol. One of other gaming friends was like “play with me” and I was like NOPE.
