I checked out Genshin when it was brand new. I can't get past the stealth part for the harp or whatever it is. People be like "it's so easy just do xyz" and I do that and still get caught
I have maybe two characters who aren't game-given

Sooo yeah I’m glad I never jumped on that bandwagon. XD

I can't get into time consuming games anymore. I have FOMO when I can't play so I need a quick log in, do my daily tasks and be done or it won't work.
Everything else needs to be completely optional and/or not time consuming.

Like, I loved Dappervolk (I think it's Hotarla who plays?) but there was just SO much to do it was consuming my life.

I was on DV at one point
And others where the dailies was just...neverending
Gave up on them as a result
Thankfully the majority of games I have on my phone are quick dailies
One is weekly but it's picross and I've completed the regular levels so just waiting on either the weeklies or a new fresco

Lol yes I’m on DV. And they’ve made the dailies/npc quests better. Instead of doing like 7 quests for little reward, now it’s only 3 quests per npc. The last town hasn’t been optimized for this yet but they’ve started on it already and then I can start doing quests there again lol.

Don't tell me that, I might have to come back XD
I really liked the universe and all but I think at one point I was spending more than 3 hours a day on it and it was just not sustainable.

Well I thought you ought to know that they did some optimization for that stuff. XD makes things easier.

BTW! It has nothing with the topic at hand but I finally got my water sign! I am so happy! No more endless digging!
