I think they'd be okay with it because it isn't reasonable not to be okay with it.
My prof was patrolling the room making sure everyone stayed honourable and he actually saw me typing a reply here. He might have lingered a few beats longer than if I'd been typing the document but he didn't say or do anything so he didn't mind

Wowwww that's so cool like most people would be so butthurt and be like "It's a test, you should be serious, you're not allowed to do this during a test," and what not.

aww thank you i think it went reasonably well! it was a closed book test but i didn't have to remember anything for it, so that's great.
