Well, we had the summer event recently, which means Firn had to create all those event items.
Maybe she just needed a break before she could focus on making the new CC item (which comes after this one), and wanted to have the new item done beforehand?
I dunno.
There's so much work going on behind the scenes, I bet it affects the timing of stuff but I don't know how.

Firn probably didn’t do CC last month bc of the event. So now we have it. Lol. But now an item is leaving again. Good thing it’s only 249 for the set, I probably got that much just from the event alone lol.

I don't have it yet, but I'm starting off closer to it than I was to the last item, so maybe there's progress being made?
Hard to tell.
I'm at 103 now.
Need 146 more for the new item.
Hopefully I can get a total of 300 or so donuts over the course of the event, though, so that I can get the current item and also make progress towards saving up more for the next one.
I want to start getting ahead again, darn it!

I couldn't do it. I always want the newest item as soon as it releases.

I'm definitely not going to be able to get the next one next month though. One month without the Caravan set me back a bit.

We have had the CC when there were events but maybe firn was too busy to release it last month. Still, with the increased activity, I think I received quite alot of donuts during the event anyway.

I did too! It was over 20 donuts between visits, that's a record for me!

Yeah I think I got at least 100. Maybe 200. Lol
