If you were looking for Loki ideas... then how about classic redheaded Loki? Other than the 'wearing Thor's sign on the pendant' bit, this is pretty good. And by the same person, this. Just as potential inspiration.
The first I like because it includes the scarred lips from the time those dwarves sewed his mouth shut for twisting a deal.
