hello, I have a question about the size. If we have to submit male and female versions of our entry can we do it side by side as in one image. Or do we send them as individual pictures and just label male and female?

Do I have to do this with a hat+hair in one too, or because it's one piece can it be all one layer with a hairstyle already under it? I was trying to figure out how I can make a hat and hair layer as one complete piece...if that's allowed.
I don't know why I'm having trouble with this...mental confusion or something. =w=;; anyway I was thinking of a similar layering to the headtowels in Bananarama ..
I am not sure I can imagine what item you are trying to come up with, but if it is a hair and a headpiece, then you should not make them in one item, these would be two separate items. Otherwise it would screw up with layering, because, if a headpiece works like a front of a hair, then you could combine it with other head items, like other headpieces. So, if you want to make a hair and a headpiece, those should be two separate items.

Whichever suits you better. Most people have sent them in in separate images.

okay, thank you Firn. I don't know why but I was having trouble with the hat...I might just exclude it and do hair for the set instead.

I am having a slight problem with the rejection PM I recieved.
This is stated in my PM:
First submission is not according to the contest rules (different main color): Hair black, earring red, glove biggest part red.
Second is okay, third has the same problem, hair and clip lavender, scarf biggest part black. 3rd is okay again, 4th needs a submission on a female base because the armthings will not work on both a female and male base.
I bolded the sentence where it went wrong for me. I sent in six item sets, yet I hear about five and I have no clue which of the ones you meant in it.
And one other thing is a problem for me, I can fix the lavender one, that is not a problem. However, I am having a slight problem with the first set I sent in. If I made the earrings another color, they would blend in with the hair. So how am I supposed to fix it?

First submission is your first entry, second is your second entry, third is your 4h entry, 5th is your fifth entry. 6 entry I did not comment on.
Yes, if you draw the earring in the same color as the hair it will blend in with the hair. This is the exact same reason why you are supposed to send in all items in the same main color: These are the exact same precondition everyone has with Treasure Trove items and this is exactly what will happen if your set gets picked. They will all have the same main color. This is why you have to make it in one color, so people will be able to see and judge properly how the set will look in the end and see that the earrings will not be represented well on a preview image. Because it is no use to anyone if people vote on a set, thinking it looks great, and then, when it gets turned into a real set, they end up seeing that it does not look good as a set after all.

Thanks for clearing it up.
Would it be alright if I alternated the color of the beads and the last part of the earrings? So it won't be mostly red. For the gloves, I changed the last part from red to black. So there are 4 black parts and 3 red parts instead of that changed around. I am sorry that I didn't make them really the same color, I hope they will be now.
I was really confused when you said one part twice, but that was on my part.
I fixed the Lavender problem and I made a female version of both the sets with arm related things in it. I'll be sending in the corrected versions. I only need to know if the first set would be accepted with the corrections I've made to make it mostly black.

It says that when you color you three items all of them have to have one base color, does that also count for hair? oh and do eyes count as an 'item'?

I would say yes for the hair and also yes for eyes because I sent in a set with eyes and I haven't gotten a rejection PM. I haven't got an acceptance PM either, but since I sent it in last week and Wiltherel has gotten a PM, I'm assuming that Firn has seen it and no news is good news.

Yes. it counts for ALL items.
And yes, if you have not gotten any kind of reply to your submission message, than that means it got accepted. I took the time and effort to reply to every single submission that was not acceptable this time.
