I hate thimbles, I don't get their use either! I'll maybe prick my finger like once in 3h+ of sewing. Thimbles are so annoying imo they always get in the way.

I like to change it up, for some reason I feel more productive when I can make some progress on more than one thing a day, though in the end the amount of work is obviously the same c':

Ew, veggies. Not a problem for me at all since I hardly eat those :D
That's all healthy though, better to have more veggies than anything else eh!

Veggies are almost all I eat XD Especially now I'm trying to cut lactose out of my diet. I try to do a couple of servings of veggies, a serving of protein, and then a sauce or something else to add flavour for each meal. Roughly, anyway.

I like to do that with my work-work, not so much with things like sewing. I'll maybe alternate days or something like that. Until I get into the real flow of a project, then I'll do a sprint to the end focusing on that one only.

Right? I barely do it at all anymore, and besides I have some nice ugly callouses built up all over the place so it doesn't exactly hurt usually XD

If I had 10 vegetables on my plate I'd eat maybe 2-3 types and leave the rest c':

I love the colour they add to a dish, but I dislike most textures and flavours if they're too strong :x

I would suggest slow-cooking then, it reduces texture down a lot and can even out the flavours as well. That way you can still get your vitamins etc! I don't like to slow cook often myself because I like a lot of veggies just as they are. A lot, I can eat raw if I feel like it.

I don't have the patience for that c':

But it requires probably the opposite of patience :3 you just put the food in in the morning and walk away, and serve it whenever you want to eat. You can even just leave it switched on at a low heat and add stuff to keep the bulk up now and then if you wanted. It doesn't need to be watched or stirred or anything.

Oh! I was imagining lots of stirring haha like I thought you always have to stir things to make sure they don't burn or stick to your pot etc

I might try that then if I find a good recipe c:

You have to get a specific slow cooker, and then it doesn't do any of that :3 you can get them pretty cheap these days too. You can do all kinds of stuff in there though. We made a lasagna in there once, which is kind of crazy XD

I love watching cooking shows/competitions and the stuff they have available is always so neat, I want a fully stocked kitchen like that in the future c':
