hi hi all...

hm...
i almost never tip at fast food places... unless they are fast food but not a chain store, and they have good service...
bad service for me = 10%
acceptable - good service = 15%
great service = 18-20%
i don't think i've ever left anywhere without tipping... except maybe if my friends got so pissed off that they took the tip away cuz the service was just absurd. ^^;

I don't tip at fast food places. Though with the bullshit they deal with they should probably get some tips, lol. (the good workers anyways).

I think we always tip too. There might have been once or twice that my bf decided it was so terrible and just left. XD

I always hated going anywhere with my x-bestie. He'd like rarely tip, even if the service was great. :( Made me scared to go back to places, lol

oh that's horrible. my friends are ok with tipping... i'm probably at the higher end sometimes, but we're all decent i think. i'm definitely a better tipper than my bf. haha.

Hahaha, my bf was a lousy tipper before I got a hold of him. XD

There was this one time that I was out with Mor and his mum. We went to Ihop, and normally the waitress will come by and take our drink order, hurry off, get us drinks and all that jazz. Well this one time we didn't see our waiter, at ALL for 20 minutes, another waitress saw that Mor's mum was getting mad and came over to take care of us. When our waiter saw she was taking care of our table he came over with our drinks... then the manager came out and asked what was wrong, and we told her. The waitress ended up serving us >___>
The guy got fired too I think/hope.

my bf is ok... he's just VERY exact... ^^;
so he wouldn't really tip more even if the service was a little better... only if it was superb or something. ^^;

@ Divi- I hate things like that. =\ I hate especially when you can see them just fooling around and ignoring you! ;o;

Ihop reminds me that last year I went to Village Inn while at my anime con, and our waiter was so awesome. Like.. we were talking to him a bit a learned that he was from the city I live in. And he told us that we came in when the place was technically closed, but he served us anyways. ;w; He sat with us at the end (chatting ect since everyone was about to leave) and it was just really nice. ^_^

@ Miyu- My bf was like.. anything below superb = nothing. @A@ wtf now he's a nice tipper tho. mostly average I think, but he can be generous if we can afford it and the service was really good.

my bf's just "i know they were good. that's why i gave 15%." XD
to be fair, some people jsut believe in giving 10%.

I definitely base mine around 10% >/////> I was always told 8% is the bare minimum, so I thought 10 was kinda nice. (though we always tip closer to %15).

I think I might be getting an interview. I HOPE I am, anyway. There was a help-wanted sign so I applied. I really really hope. D=

When I was working at Orange Julius we used to get tips. We never were upset if people didn't tip, because after all we were a smoothie shop in the mall, but we were always excited when people DID.
