That's a good tip! (not that I'm going to buy fish anytime soon, living in a small room and everything...)
Most people probably tend to buy the ones that look the most awesome. Interesting to know that that's a bad idea. :)

Yeah, I will buy from pet stores. Because honestly, who else is going to help those fish? I rather them die spoiled and happy then in a tiny bowl with random people poking it all day.
Just a shorter life span is to be expected when you do buy from pet stores as well as some diseases sometimes.

No signs of viruses so I guess that was good.
Only had her for less than a year though....She would always get so excited when I would come up to the tank and welcomed tank cleanings. Wouldnt even fight me, just swim in the net. I miss her, she was awesome.

And probably cause there are way cooler names for a cat lol
