I wouldn't say Fruits Basket is carefree though? It's cute and funny but also really deep and has a lot of depressing things. One of my friends stopped reading it because it made her cry too much and she couldn't handle it.

I've heard.

I once asked my classmate how the guy became okay with Mr. Cow's hair being black and white. She told me that there's something in the manga that they didn't show in the anime. So I figured. Haha~
