my base is 10% and i usually do around 15%.

yeah, i used to work at a small cafe... that's probably why i tip. for smoothie shops and/or bubble tea and snack type shops, i tip at times... but it's usually just how much change i get back or something. ^^; (or if i was REALLY picky and i feel bad for the server. XD )

We had one customer we'd fight over. He always left at least one dollar (two if two people helped him) and he loved to chat, and got the same thing. I'd have his drink already in the blender when I saw him, and I always loved when he came on the slow days because then I could talk with him for a while.

yeah. those are the best. we had some regulars when i used to work at the cafe. they're polite, easy going and they tip. =)

some of them still say hi to me if we bump into each other when i'm in the neighborhood... and i stopped working there for almost 10 years already. XD

I used to get tipped really well at subway (even though you're not supposed to take tips there >_>) But I didn't work there long enough to have any customer-friends

I think most times tho I tip more out of fear than want. I hear too many horror stories of bodily fluids in food... no thanks...

I know it's stupid, but I noticed my bf and I had more luck with jobs when we were thinking really positive about it. >/////> Like most times we'd be like 'ugh it prolly won't happen, but I'll try anyways', but the few times we decided to try being like 'yeah we got this' we... actually got it. XD

Well, that's how I felt but there's an hour left in the window I was given and... nothing. I'm kinda giving up hope now. v.v

There is this really nice Italian restaurant in Canton that my friend takes me to sometimes, and this one time that we went happened to be my 21st birthday. The OWNER of it saw us waiting and he let us in. Then HE played waiter for us when he found out it was my birthday O-O;;;;;;;
That was the best service I've ever, EVER, seen :D
