I'm far enough inland that it has to be a really strong hurricane that hits the Gulf for us to get any after-effects in Missouri.

Wasn't there one that hit a state in the north and absolutely devastated them because they don't usually get weather events like hurricanes?

You'd think Ohio wouldn't get hit with after-effects, and people say it's not one, but it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME a hurricane hits the east coast.

Well, the city I live in just got so devastated that our entire Entergy grid was destroyed three years ago. They tried to charge my parents over a thousand dollars for their Entergy bill a few months ago, and I told her to call the commissioner because her usage had not changed. The commissioner acted like she didn't want to help but that's literally her job, lol.

And she spoke to us rudely the entire time! I don't know exactly what all a commissioner does but I do know they're with public services.

I never spoke to one.. oxo I don't wanna deal with my landlady, screw commissioners.. >A< -hides-
