Yeah I think the place I live in is relatively old. Pretty sure that the lock on the master bedroom was added on by my parents. Actually I think the bathroom was also changed. The old doorknobs that could lock were so easily openable from the other side, someone from the other side only needed a hairpin to stick through the hole to unlock the locking mechanism. Lol

Most the inside locks you can use a screwdriver. Naturally the one that we had to remove was not one of them and we lost that key years ago

I used to use a butter knife to unlock doors when my parents moved to a place that actually had locks on all of the doors.

Real talk for a moment: Can we Go back to that month that Pokemon Go was released. Everyone was so happy and the only people down my throat were old men at work who complained about a cell phone app kids were playing. Can we have that? Please.

Lol yeah I used to just unlock doors by pushing a hairpin through a hole. Now though, I think there’s only really one door that still has that locking setup.

Skeleton keys sound so cool!! The closest I ever came to that is the doors at the office my grandparents owned curiously all worked on the same key. Looked like a normal modern key. After I upgraded the worn-out knobs, their kits all came with separate keys, so now my keyring makes me look like a highschool janitor.

My dad kept a dull nail above our doors that used the hairpin holes. We never could keep up with the "key" it came with.

Unfortunately my grandmother lost all of the keys long before I was born so I never got to use them. All of the door remained unlocked from that point on. Luckily for her two of the doors were so heavy and difficult to open that she didn't need to bother locking them to keep me out when I was little.

I grew up in a house where every door had huge keys. I loved being able to lock mine making a lot of noises when I was a moody teenager XD

Now, it's just an integrated lock and a bit boring. But I'm not a moody teenager anymore and I live alone with my husband who's thankfully an adorable teddy bear I don't need to lock myself from.

On another topic, I was so sure we'd have the caravan last week end but we haven't. I hope we have one this month, Halloween being just a shop is kind of sad I need something to do.

I’m sure there will be a CC. Altho if they didn’t have time to do an event, then there might not be one. Who knows.

Gives the vibes of "we made the stuff but the event part wigged out on us and we couldn't get it fixed in time"
Hopefully the doughnight calendar goes smoother for them

At least we have very lovely digi-watercolour bats to keep us company. I love the background art on this site.
