Only problem is that my diet is a lot more restrictive than theirs, but I guess I'm eating lactose for the weekend lol. You'd think a couple of vegetarians would be more flexible, but honestly I actually can't imagine them making something separate for me. They're a little set in their ways by now.

My parents never remember my preferences, but I tend to suck it up and eat whatever I'm given (I have no allergies/intolerances) c':
The only issue I usually have is that my parents cook 'heavy' meals... Not really good for my diet to have my parents serve food smothered in butter etc
I just ate a big spring roll, pomme duchesse and chicken nuggets for dinner, with a small side salad. I'm not looking forward to putting in those calories :'D

The lucky thing there is that my parents are on a fairly strict diet, they've both lost a lot of weight over the last couple of years. Although they do seem to have all their "cheat meals" when they're with me
My parents do have this funny thing going though. My dad changes his mind constantly about what he likes to eat, but he always claims that his tastes have never changed. So she'll serve something and he'll be all stroppy like "You KNOW I don't like mushrooms" and we're all giving him side eye because we saw him eat mushrooms last week.
I say funny, it's kind of annoying in person XD but funny as a running joke we kind of point out behind his back.

Ha I'm usually the bud of those kind of jokes, as like I said my parents keep forgetting what I don't like to eat. So I could be skipping over a certain thing in filling my plate and they'll always comment 'why aren't you taking any of that?' with the ensuing joking that 'I keep changing what I don't eat just to be picky etc'
I can't help that I just don't like 70% of veggies and such :'D
I never change them though, if I don't like sth I just really don't haha

Pretty sure he just changes his mind every single meal XD
I'm not really particularly picky within the constraints of my diet. I'll try anything once so long as it's not dead XD

I honestly can't tell whether he really believes he's never liked that food or not XD
We do call him Alzheimer Man for a nickname sooo XD I think it's selective memory though.

I hate it when I just don't feel like eating.. even if I'm hungry
Which sadly is common lately

I don't get that, but I guess I get something similar with sleep. Being tired but not sleepy.
