Lol! *confetti rain* this is fun, but I'm afraid will end up in you actually searching out all of my typos xD

Same here. Couldn't write much, because no time or inspiration, stress and all that. Now I feel I've lost it. I'm not even sure I am able to write in Polish properly, because I got stuck on writing fanfics in English exclusively x.x I probably should some book in Polish, but, well... I only have two romance/drama kind of things I haven't touched and it's not even fantasy, and I'd rather some fantasy (but there's nothing interesting out there) ;>_>

Go visit the local library.
There's all the genres you will need and I've doing this for years now. Reading the books from the library and then buying the ones I absolutely want to read again. I usually borrow books that have a specific plot, like crime novels and such because you basically remember what happens after a point and it's not as enjoyable to read again so I rather borrow than buy these.

Nanowrimo helps. Forcing yourself to write even though you don't have the inspiration can actually open the door to a whole lot of inspiration that was just waiting.

I'm doing inktober followed right away by nanowrimo XD I don't know why since I'm clearly busy enough already rofl.

@Haze: I've never re-read any book, no matter how much I liked it o3o" And I don't really like going to any new places. I don't even know where a library is (and if there is one)...

@jacob: when does the nanowrimo start? November?

Mem, if you're looking for fantasy in polish, have you read the witcher saga? From Andrej Sapkowski? I believe they're originally polish. I read them in german since we'd heard that the german translation was much better than the english one. I love these books!

I haven't read it, but I'm very familiar with it. Maybe I could give it a chance, even though bf says it's overrated... /tries to get independed from her bf's opinions... :mcsweat:

Well, something can be overrated but still good ;) I definitely loved them, although by the end (last book or so) I found things started to get a bit weird. So I see how one could take away a "meh" in the end because that is the last impression. But before that, there was so much fun to be had! But I guess you'd just have to judge for yourself :)

Maybe I'll try indeed :qlol:
Have you heard of Inquisitor Series by Jacek Piekara (another Polish one)? I'm not sure it got even translated to anything, just wondering. The Wikipedia site of the series is only in Polish, so yeah XD

No I haven't heard of it. But then again, if I google the author I only get polish results, so it probably really hasn't been translated into german or english, otherwise google would be smart enough to show me something I can actually read.
Is it good?

That's what I thought.
Yeah, it's pretty good. Sort of dark fantasy. It's a kind of alternate universe where Jesus went down from his cross and killed everyone XD So the religion turned pretty bloodthirsty, thus inquisitions :qt: The main character is pretty interesting. He's a fanatic, but you kinda like him for it, which is crazy :qlol:
