We should have one more chance at them; the main announcement thread is a good indicator because Firn is really sweet about putting a big bold reminder there when an item is leaving.
And it's not there this time.
So we should have another shot at them.

Last month for items are announced in the caravan announcement, plus ignoring the year that's off by one, the month is still accurate
Brooches have their last chance next month

Thankfully, they're also cheap items so pretty easy to get.

I ended up getting them, but if it makes me lose out on some of the eyes I'm going to regret that choice. Oh, well, there's still time to get the eyes. If I can just stay a little more active, it should be alright, right?

At least when he isn't here there's a chance of 1-3 donuts per post so you can still earn them without his being here
The guaranteed 1/post when he's here is best bet though
