Anyway, mini story time:
so I'm working on a chibi of my Pokemon trainer OC (in honor of PKMN Go) and showed it to my friend/partner in crime. She in turn showed it to her boyfriend and he said that my chibi wasn't a drawing because I didn't draw it with my hands. (It's a digital chibi.)

Guys I'm typing up my chibi do you wanna see it? /eyeroll

So by his logic only finger painting is art
Cuz it's really the only time you use your fingers consistently. Charcoal and such are a bit more iffy on said logic

I sketch then digital color.

I take it he doesn't like cartoons or animation because that's digital art so that wouldn't be art either in his books. Though the Japanese Artbooks I have show all the art in digital, but at the end it show's the artist's sketches before working on it on photoshop.

And yes show us your chibi.
