I don't know. I find it a lot easier with direct deposit. Plus you don't have to wait when you want to spend it. I enjoy it a lot.

My work required a voided check as well. They wouldn't let me just give them the account info.

That's so weird. I've never heard of that requirement before.

Some places are weird like that

I know for dad, they didn't need the voided check, just the info, so a voided check isn't even needed. Just take a blank and fill out the paperwork, no need to void one out

Edit: it may be how it's done on their end. Some machine or other that reads off a check, so voiding it prevents unscrupulous use, and just giving the info won't work cuz there's only that one way to get it

I suppose. Seems really annoying though. lol.
