I would object strenuously if they were super noisy or inconsiderate people but I am very, very, very lucky in my family. The older I get the more strongly I realize that. So I think it will be okay. There has already been a lot of talk about how to do things like coordinate laundry or who will take dishes duty for which meals, and reminders to leave bathroom time for the Elders and where the nearest stores are and extra hand-mirrors and sinks for non-essential bathroom things. (we only have 2 bathrooms, you see)
So I think it will be fine -it will just be tiring! I am not sure how much I'll manage to be online tomorrow, lol
Are you close with your cousin? It's nice to have family you can count on in an emergency!

ha ha, we'll have the practicalities sorted out, it'll just be the emotional pressure of so many people in a small area to deal with, and that's also easier when you know it's just for such a short time. (they leave again Monday night)

Most of them are out right now. They're taking the Elders downtown to see the lights and decorations and then when they get back they'll leave the Elders to me and go up into the hills for a hike.

Ah, sorry Nankuii, sometimes I forget not everyone knows who he is
Jay is my other half. We've been together almost 9 years. He has a huge family, and I came from a single parent, no sibling family that didn't spend much time in big, extended family gatherings so even though I've had 9 years practice it still gets overwhelming for me.
