We finally got an appointment for our vaccines... and the taxi won't take us because the medical company won't pay them because its not a 'dr' appointment... =A= We don't have the money for an actual trip there...

WHY THE HELL ARE THEY DOING THIS STUFF AT THE FAIRGROUNDS ANYWAY!?! DX

We have a fish store, not nearby but I remember this place because they had a small shark swimming in the large aquarium inside, it’s called Big Al’s. Also, there’s a few Asian stores which only sell fish. I remember hearing about how, in Hong Kong, there’s a street literally called Goldfish Street where you go to buy all sorts of marine pets there.

I just feel like maybe they don’t take it very seriously? Like they think that just because you’ve been vaccinated, you’d be fine.

I need to book at appointment for my parents but all the spots are unavailable AND they’re picky. My mom INSISTS on doing the shot near a hospital just in case of adverse affects and ALSO insist they don’t want the AstraZeneca version AND that the appointment has to be over the weekend. LIKE SRS, how many more conditions are you giving me??

Bob got us our appointments for friday. He kept going on and on about how I needed to make appointments online, and I'd try to tell him that they were always booked up. He uses his phone and books our appointments, of course it's at a CVS towns away. I'm here trying to get appointments at a place closer to us because of our transportation issues.. but since he's the one giving us a ride, fk it. He scheduled the appointments that far away, he's giving us the ride, so who cares.


Hours later, I'm sleeping, mom wakes me up telling me that the one lady from her health insurance got her an appointment for tomorrow.. I had to yell at mom because we already had appointments for friday and that if she gets hers tomorrow, I'm screwed out of mine because Bob isn't really allowed to take 'me' anywhere as he's mom's case manager, not mine. x-x ugh...

yeah its just fishhh for an entire section of Hong Kong lol. I think there's a street for birds as well.

I knoww, but some people go out just because they've been vaccinated and think they're safe.
still, i have to wait a few more days before i can try again to book a weekend appointment. appointments have a 14 day period so every day, there's another day opened up. but since my parents want a weekend.......@-@

The places here are on a 5 day cycle or something, so we were trying to a point... then we were like "we have a dr appointment so we can ask him if he can get us our shots.. because HEY! HE'S A DOCTOR AND GIVES ALL SORTS OF VACCINATIONS SO WHY NOT THIS?!" ... nope.. =A=



people are idiots.. best to stay away from them.. yep -nods-

um.....yeah no, they probably need much bigger centres to give out shots. so that more people can get them sooner. hence, you can't just get them at your family doctor or something....xD;; since they have other cases to look after that doesn't have to do with vaccinations.

Hhhaaaaaaa... when mom's COPD started to really act up and crap they didn't even want to see her until covid was over. >:x other cases my butt..

And just like with how they're doing the appointments for shots, they could make appointments with the family doctors. Doctors won't get over run if the scheduling is done right. And just like with Flu and Pneumonia vaccines, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Walmart and other clinics are giving out covid shots.

All of those + family doctors would help get people vaccinated faster and make it easier for those of us with transportation issues get ours. We 'WERE' gonna get ours on thursday at the fair grounds, but because the taxi couldn't take us there we had to find another place to go. If it had been a doctor office, there woulda been no issue.

More places, more options, more people get vaccinated sooner.

ahhhh well maybe there were some cases they couldn't look at......and besides, sometimes there are good doctors and some who are...not as good lol. Lazy perhaps lol.

Still, some people would rather get their shots at or near a hospital, rather at just a clinic. like my parents, who are paranoid that something might happen and need that hospital fallback lol.

Our hospitals aren't giving out shots at all either. Just the pharmacies and far grounds and certain clinics that deal with the homeless.
