We've done a lot of alcohol advent calendars in the past but they're hard to get; always sell out real fast. I know my roommate got one for perfume.

Costco had a beer calendar last time I went.
Hotarla wrote: Nov 2nd, '24, 09:29 I didn’t think chocolate ones could be so expensive. Then again I’ve never personally bought one myself. Dunno about the prices for cosmetic advents tho since I’ve also never purchased one. Lol
I have found cosmetics calendars that go for the same prices as some chocolates.
I bought a coffee one, despite the price having been raised by a lot, and the quality of the box went down and I am not happy.

Well, I complain a lot but, thing is, I'm in Japan, advent and advent calendars are a completely foreign concept, a few years ago I could only find the cheap imported ones in import stores so I'm happy it's taking ofF.
It also explains the price point, especially since most of the brands doing it are foreign brands which are usually expensive in the first place.

Also, I went to the store like two weeks ago for last minute Halloween decorations and ... it was already Christmas everywhere XD
I still haven't used a jacket once.

A beer calendar sounds interesting lol. Not that I’m into alcohol but it’s still an interesting concept. Especially if they’re like small things like sample types. Just to give you a taste. lol

Well guess I’m not gonna get an advent calendar lol. Besides, I don’t really care overmuch about it anyway. We don’t really do Xmas here lol.

I need an advent calendar that holds pills, and I'll give it to some family members who are really bad about remembering meds.
:qsweat:
Oh, it's kind of a joke, but... I bet it would work. If we set it up and it was in some kind of entertaining format...

Hm.

You can totally buy ones where you can fill them yourself though. Or make one.

The Costco beer ones were normal size, well not even normal, kind of huge.
But it's Costco so I guess that's expected.

Also I don't really do Christmas anymore either, will be going to the beach instead, but I like to have little things to look forward to everyday so that's why I'm doing it.
