The last thing I was diagnosed with was described to me by my doctor as "your body doesn't know how to deal with the amount of stress you're under, so it malfunctions and acts stupid". 
After that, they stopped diagnosis me with things, and started saying "we don't know, ask someone else", "Huh, really? Weird. I've never heard of that before! Strange! I don't know what that is." "We can't help you, see someone else." "We're out of ideas, you should ask someone else." "We're out of experimental drugs, experimental doses, and experimental combinations to try on you. I'm kinda at a loss, kid. Maybe you should see someone else." Rinse and repeat for dozens of doctors, until I decided enough was enough, went cold turkey off every pill I've ever been on, and decided to do it the old fashion way - by brute force and stubbornness. 
Push it down, hold it in, keep on breathing, keep on moving. 
September will mark 3 years going strong on that plan. It's not the best, and doesn't work for everyone, but compared to the....14 years I spent on pills that didn't work, I guess it's easier this way.
Doctors don't know everything. I know it's discouraging and scary when they say that they don't know, but it's normal. The scientific community knows so little on how the human body truly functions. And every person is a little different. All you can do is keep your chin up, be open to trying new things, and learn how to cope. One step at a time.
You can do it! I mean, you made it this far, right?
