I think my favourite Asian script is Thai. The only bits of anything I can read is some Japanese, in part because at karate we have to be able to read a handful of kanji. Yuu/courage is the one I've known since before I started practicing, and will probably get a tattoo of someday. My husband has nin/patience on his arm.

I don’t think I’d get tattoos lol.

I got a tattoo
But it's no kanji nor text in any language but an eagle. I got it after my brother died. He had the same one.

I can totally picture my grandpa calling it wasser XD
A very very small village between Metz and Strasbourg. I'm actually at the very limit of German influence so our local dialect is very close to German.
Which is another reason I'm so mad at myself for not being able to speak it.
XDD
Oh! I'm very close to Strasbourg. So our local dialect is also influenced. Though I don't know that much of that dialect compared to my parents and their parents ^^°
Though you must be closer to the Saarland and Rheinland-Pfalz border which also have a bit of a different dialect compared to Baden. I guess, it's been a while since I've been there lol
But I'll be going to Strasbourg today XD haven't been there in a while as well.

I am, but honestly, I'm still pretty far as far as distances are concerned, you're probably closer to the border than I was.
Oh you're so right to go now, in a few weeks it'll be so packed. (Japanese) husband loves the Christmas market so much he absolutely insists on us going when we're there for Christmas but it's a lot of people. Which I should be used to but I'm not.
I also have a tattoo, three maple leaves, got them a few months after I went to Japan, back when I still thought I'd go back to Europe.
I don't regret it but it's sometimes a bit unpractical.

Thai is so pretty.
But my favorite ever is Mongol, not the Cyrillic version but the actual Mongol.

I feel like getting tattoos would be painful. And hard to get rid of. They’ll be with you all your life as your body gets old and saggy. Lol

They use needles
I do not like needles
I malfunction around needles
Always have
"But it's not a needle" how the fuck you think the ink is getting installed?!
Yes that's been a response I've gotten for why I don't have any
Ears aren't pierced either

It is indeed a needle. It did hurt less than I thought but it's constant and focused more or or less on the same area, and the sound especially is a bit anxiety inducing.
Somehow, I am more afraid of getting my ears pierced than I ever was getting a tattoo. So my ears aren't pierced either.

Mine is on my back, or rather on the back of my shoulders. Which has been chosen in part because it should stay pretty longer and doesn't get affected as much by weight changes.
Also because I have a lot of beauty marks and I needed a bit of space for the tattoo and didn't want to cover any of them.

My husband says it feels more like sunburn because it's... kind of like a sewing machine from how he described it. Just being rapidly pierced over and over. For years my biggest aversion to getting a tattoo is that I'm just way too wishy-washy to have one artwork that long.
And happy Thanksgiving everybody. ^_^

Happy thanksgiving to all the Americans lol
Yeah I can’t deal with needles either. Like I’m not like “ew no keep them away” but I still don’t like pointy objects near my body. Also the reason why I never pierced my ears.
