Aww that was really unlucky but awesome how you got a cute baby now!
We always used to have bigger dogs since we had the space for them and I grew quite fond of them that it's hard to consider getting a smaller breed in the future.

I kind of understand. Big dogs have their own charm as well. It makes me want to just rub them all over and tell them theyre a good boy. Tiny dogs make me want to hug them.

The dogs also helped me keep active, they always enjoyed playing and just couldn't get myself to decline them no matter how tired I was haha

Our dog is so lazy tho ~.~ He's spoiled rotten by the people in our house and he doesn't really go out for walks much so when we do try to take him out for walks, he absolutely refuses to. The most exercise we can make him do is fetch rubber squeaky balls.

Is he generally lazy and just sits around all the time?

He generally just lies down and doesn't move unless you give him rubs or food.
