For me the moment they see my veins they just ask if I want them to take blood from tip from my finger, the way it is done with small children or animals

I hand my blood taken from the finger once too (it felt like it hurt more o.o maybe because the tips of fingers are more sensitive?)

My veins are heavily damaged and hidden deep under the skin, so it is hard to find them and put needle properly into them. A lot of inexperienced nurses have problems with my veins and I just end up with a lot of bruises from their failed attempts ~.~
