because I watched the first episode and was largely unimpressed
Granted the character played by Daisuke Hirakawa hasn't come in yet so...
Haru seems like such a massive wet blanket, Rin's a massive D-bag,
and Nagisa too hyperactive

I was happy that I correctly picked out the character done by Tatsuhisa Suzuki
so far Makoto's the only character I like
It might get better for you. I went in not expecting to like it but I kind of enjoy it. Makoto is still really the only one I like, but the others are all silly in their own way (even Haru...especially Haru actually)

And Rin is a d-bag but he's been developing slowly into a better character.

Gosh I hope Rin gets better because I hate characters like him
Rival characters or those with attitude were never my thing

Also I get that it's suppose to be silly and fan-servicy
but I gotta say they went a bit overboard
almost to the point of pure annoyance
I really don't want that to be the butt of all the jokes
because it's not really that funny to me
It's like saying "this character has big boobs and it's funny"
and then they attempt to one note that entire thing for "humor"

The opening is horrible but the ending song is alright
I can see it growing on me if I keep watching it

Apparently the opening is sung by the VA of Makoto...which is pretty funny (if it's true) given the character in the show. but yeah I'm still not a huge fan of it

Yeah all I've wanted out of Rin is for him to not be a big jerk to his sister, and they had a moment in the second to last episode and it's made me happy haha

the fanservice is really awkward to me most of the time mostly because their head and their bodies don't match up and it's just weird. But it's all very very silly so I don't mind.

I'm mostly here for the animation and the doofyness (to counteract Attack on Titan's non-doofyness)

The show is actually based off of a light novel

Anyway, I'm with Frogger and Caden, I think the show gets better. And I like everyone. And yeah doofy vs srs shit xD

CANT WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW'S SNK

OH MAN SIN it's totally saturday tomorrow
whichisalsothebugoffinanimalcrossing
gotta remember that

Free! is? okay haha. I get mad at people thinking everyone going nuts for the kyoani PV was what got them to make the show. Like...no...that's not how production works. It only came out like a month or two after everyone was all crazy

SNK is a video game! Stop using that abbreviation! *flips tables and throws chairs*

SNK is a video game COMPANY *glues chairs to floor, but slightly off-center which will annoy you when you go to sit down again*.

Aw, it's based on something? Is it bad that that disappoints me? Too few shows are totally original (Tsuritama<3) Also, it actually has a lot less fanservice than I expected. And I love Rin's moody teenage I-don't-know-how-to-emotions self. Buuuut I hate the opening song, haha.

Also, babysitting my nephew ended up turning into "watch Mean Girls while baby sleeps the whole time" which was relaxing and entertaining
