that's nice, that you got it fixed. although yeah, if there's only one setting, maybe its best to get a new one. still, better than nothing i suppose.

yeaaaaaaaaaah i think i got maaaaaybe 3-4 hours of sleep........D: more or less....i couldn't sleep on my back, even though all the google searches said sleeping on your back is the best way to sleep even with back pain, because sleeping on your stomach would strain your back even more. like right now, its still like.......a dull achey pain on my left side, with some twinges on the right........Dx

its hard to breath with this heat. I don't see how you live without ac... for the most part. RAID THE PARENTAL UNITS ROOM!!!! x'D

Oh on the nights my parents open the ac, I’ll sit in there for awhile before bed before I head off to my room. My parents also set up a fold up bed in the room but usually my sister is the one who takes it lol. She gets skin issues if it’s too hot so…I used to also sleep in my parents room with my sister on the hotter days on a bamboo mat but not anymore lol. I don’t like sleeping on the floor tbh.

Bamboo mats sound uncomfortable... o-o


I got a heat rash on both my feet. ε٩(｡•ˇ₃ˇ•｡)۶з so annoying...

they kinda are.......especially when they're start to get worn down and the bamboo starts to prick at you like needles lol.

this is the first time I ever gotten a heat rash, that I can remember.

Yeah kinda prickly lol. But since the bamboo mat has been deteriorating, we got a fold up bed. But the bed isn’t large enough for two ppl so it’s a toss up between my sister and I. Being the older, and also because my sister sometimes gets heat rashes, she sometimes sleeps on that bed. Although sometimes she sleeps on the pull out couch downstairs lol.

I remember getting sick of my last bed's slats kept falling out from under my mattress and box spring. Well, box sping finally broke. Spings breaking off, stabbing through the mattress, the wood part of the box spring started breaking too. So that bed tossed out, just a mattress to lay on. Its all torn up, holes all over. Its and OLD mattress so its just one huge piece of foam with (whats left of the) mattress material covering it. The bed itself was from the 1940s or so I was told.

So i took a crap ton of blankets, folded them and placed them under the mattress. Wasn't the most comfortable, and it was like this for years until we could afford my current bed frame. which i love x3 don't need a box spring for this bed.. would like a proper mattress tho..
i got a Japanese futon to put over top the mattress. Extra pieces of foam laid out under it to make it softer.

i'll take this over a splintery bamboo mat... QAQ
