I'm getting scam messahes from folks on insta. I had asked questions and the one deleted its account, another just sends automated message... the other i hadn't spoke to cause sports isn't my thing xD

Arisu had two friends since his school days. Not sure if its middle or high school, but they were really close.

Well, one day they ended up in a version of Tokyo thats empty, void of people. There are people, but not many. Just like Arisu, they were brought to this empty tokyo. Trying to survive this alt Tokyo, they have to participate in the 'Games' that pop up every night.

If you enter a game venue, you can't leave. If you try, you get a lazer from space to the brain, you die. Also, if you don't participate in games at all, your visa runs out, and space lazer to the brain. Participating is the ONLY 'chance' at survival. Participating can get you killed as well.

Survive the games.

Well Arisu and his 2 friends + one other enter a game venu. Hide & Seek is the theme. The 'Wolf' is IT, the Sheep are suppose to hide. Except, in this game, only tge wolf will survive. At the end of the game, the collars around their neck explode.

At first, in their desperation, everone wants to be the wolf. But they realise 'sacrificing my friends to live isn't right.' Arisu too thinks that. He's currently the wolf. He doesn't want his friends to die so he seeks them.. but they too don't want him to die, so they sacrifice themselves. They hide from Arisu, the wolf. Through the communication coms of the headset, they remember the fun times, as the clock winds down. As the last few seconds count down, Arise finds one of his friends... but not in time.. right in front of him, his friend dies. QAQ

Yea... theres a reason it's all happening. That empty alt tokyo, is basically where those in a coma go.

They're fighting to survive the coma. The visa's are thete to expand their life. They can give up and pass on, or keep fighting. Leaving a game after entering is a sign of giving up.

Not being able to survive the games is basically the actual body and mind not being able handle the injuries it sustained.

Its a great manga, and they did an aewsome job at turning that into a live. The emotion, the thrill, the fear... they did a beautiful job.
