Sorry, but the math riddle is correct with "in" 24 years, meaning that both are older by 24 years in the second sentence.
Otherwise it's impossible to get correct formulas.

I just can't solve the math riddle. I really suck in maths, AND I do not speak english too well. Even though people say it should be "at" 24 years, not "in", I still don't get it.
I haven't done maths in one year! Not since I graduated.
Help, please?

I'd like to point out that the riddle is CORRECT and people telling it should be "at 24 years" instead of "in 24 years" are wrong, so please don't let them confuse you!

I think there is some kind of typo in the berry question, the blue and red berries are given the exact same info about them both, which does not narrow down anything.
And I solved it via try, try again, and the 'correct' answer is wrong. It makes no sense whatsoever.

The descriptions are sufficient to find the correct answer :)
There's no typo.
Just write down the possibilities, starting most left or most right with one colour and then use the clues to find the only order of the berries where all clues fit :)

Perhaps the question should say "beside" or "directly adjacent to" instead of "beneath"?

No, I worked it out alongside another friend, and she came to the same conclusion. If process of elimination indicates at least three must be below a particular berry, it cannot be the middle one.
