Kingdom of Knuffel

(holidays are crazy x.x sorry for the late reply- I hope we can continue ^^)

Angel blushed a little with his words, not realizing how eager she sounded about finding her brother. The last place she saw her brother.. That wouldn't be hard to remember. She nodded lightly and thought a moment. "I know mother wants us to be wed as soon as possible, but planning can take time." She said with a soft sigh. "At least a few months, to make sure everything goes right." She said. "Maybe longer." Angel noted. She paused when they reached the dinning room doors and glanced at him. "We'll talk more about it after dinner." She said as she opened one of the doors.

The room was filled with the aroma of some Italian dishes, since Nick had prepared an assortment of dishes. There were also a few candles and decorations to match the meal. "Oh wow!" Angel chimed.

Dorian nodded to Angel’s words. It would be a good idea to talk this plan through. He just hoped that it was going to be okay. He stood up and followed Angel to the dining room, Nieve following after them. Once inside he let his eyes roam over the dishes. “Again, Nick, you manage to amaze me with your talent.” He said with a smile as he took a seat.

Nieve walking over and making a rumble sound, before lightly poking Nick with her nose to indicate her own desire for food.

Nick smiled as the young royals entered, and sheepishly rubbed the side of his cheek as Dorian complimented his work. Angel joined her fiancé at the large table, unable to hide her smile. Nick passed a couple plates around form them to help themselves. He paused when he felt the nose of the wolf and chuckled. "Of course." He said quietly, slowly puling her dish from under the table.

"My, it smells wonderful in here." Summer voiced as she entered unexpectedly. "My queen, what're you doing wandering about?" Asked Nick as he glanced at her. She sat down and got a plate, like the kids. "Worry yourself not my dear, I'm alright for now."

Dorian smiled at Nieve's friendliness towards Nick. She seemed to be fully content waiting for the other to get her the desired food. Meanwhile, Dorian turned the attention to the door opening, only to be surprised, when the visitor turned out to be Summer.

"My Queen, it's an pleasant surprise that you are well enough to join us." he said and smiled at her, remembering that he had agreed to accept her wish. Summer deserved to have what little freedom she coul muster at this point. Still, as he turned to Angel, he wondered if casting his magic to prolong Summer's life would have been better.

Summer offered the young prince a warm smile as she took a small bit from each dish he had set out. "Everything looks delicious." She said, glancing at Nick. He rubbed the back of his neck. Summer began eating with the others. Angel had a feeling her mother had something to share with the!, but decided against saying anything until after their meal.

Dorian gave Summer another glance, before he returned his attention back to the meal infront of him. It was, as always, very impressive, and as he started eating, he was happy to see that Nick really was as talented i many forms of food. This was something he had seen before back home, but to no extend did his own cook reach the same delicious taste as Nick's did.

He looked over at Angel and then at Summer. "How goes the preparation for the wedding?" He asked, as to make conversation in the silent room. He also wanted to know how long Angel and him had to try and locate her brother before having to travel back to the palace. He wondered if he should let Summer in on the plan, or just excuse it as him wanting to be shown the kingdom that he one day would rule with Angel.

In the end he let that sit in the air, and decided that Angel would tell her mother, if she believed that Summer needed to hear what their plans were.

Summer began to eat in silence, simply enjoying the company of the room and the pleasant mood floating about. She decided it was time to start doing more when she felt more-so up for it, like tonight. She didn't know how time she had and she didn't want to spend the rest of her life hiding in her room. Angel glanced at her fiance briefly before returning to her meal.

Summer smiled lightly at his question. "Patience my prince, the wedding has only been mentioned a night or two before now. At the rate of the few servants we have, and friends within the kingdom, preparations are moving slow." She explained after taking a sip of her water. Angel remained quiet as she thought about everything going on around her, and most of what she hadn't told her mother.. Like the arrogant Prince from the Fire kingdom, or the idea of going and searching for her brother.

The last thing she wanted was to worry her mother.
