More common in African American persons, who genetically tend to have very short, slow growing hair, weaves are either real/horse/synthetic hair extensions that are literally woven into your natural hair.

Oh! Um. How do you wash your hair, without it coming undone or frizzing up?

It's usually woven really tight. And I don't know about the care, never had one myself. But I'm pretty sure some can be washed and some can't? XD not an expert.

It seems like that would be quite a skill! I can imagine having a lot of fun with using a multitude of ever-so-slightly different shades.... of course, you'd have to dye your actual hair to match, so maybe that would be too much bother.

Oh yeah there's tons of options. My girlfriend growing up would change hers every month or so, to a different look.

Also today's advent item is kind of sad. Everyone got me excited for a skin, I wonder if they're saving it for the last day?

I admit, of all the items from the calendar, the only one I was in any way excited about was the snow. The lips were okay, the hair alright, but most of the rest I would not ever use, and in fact I've tried to sell much of it on the market Still, it's a fun little activity and surprise. I keep getting confused thinking December is like February with not all the days in the month on it, lol

I like the eyes, blush, headwings and snow. I find the lips creepy.

What I mean is the doughnight background.

Every year (as far as i know) it has had it.
And I know I will be using the eyes, blush (maybe), hair, the snow and tree.

Yeah, there was definitely background stuff, although all kind of background "extras" if that makes sense. The snow, a beautiful wooden frame but with stuff stuck all over it, and a snow-laden evergreen, which come to think on, I like that one too. Is that not what people normally mean when they say "background"?
Did none of the other Doughnights have the background pieces like that?
I find the blush too obvious; it's not exactly subtle against the base skin I've got. Otherwise I'd probably be very fond of it, too. I'm keeping it for later, in case I get a skin that it doesn't jar with so much.

edit: Oh! Like the actual "doughnight" eclipse/moon-thing like it said in the story-text bit. Which I should go re-read.
