I let the yard pile up too but the wind sends the snow into my driveway, so it tends to melt last

I’m glad we don’t need to do much maint ourselves unless we want to plant stuff lol.

I do want a garden but I'd go crazy with all the needed maintenance. So I'll just stick with my little low maintenance balcony gardening.
Where I can't really plant veggies anyway because it's right next to a highway and I don't want to eat vegetables grown in that kind of environment.

Definitely not. I read once that you're not supposed to eat anything that grows within either 50ft or 100ft of a busy road.

our yard isn't that big but we usually plant some melons or tomatoes every year.

I'm hoping I can grow something outside. Last year was just so freakin' hot and dry that everything outside scorched.
