Most of the times, they try to always have someone to actually look and save people in case something goes wrong, because if it does it can become a trial against the city. I undersand they'd be afraid.
I've never heard about paying to go on the actual beach though, unless it's a private beach, parking is awfully expensive around any popular beach that's the same everywhere.
Here, some places actually have restaurants with the car park so if you eat there parking is free or heavily reduced. I love this.

Kuuki, I LOVE your current avatar!
So pretty!
I'm pretty sure private beaches are illegal in Mass. ^^;
People get around it by blocking the entrance to the beach by putting fences up around their beach front property, but they're just crummy people. >>
It's just that you have to pay to park. If you're lucky and live nearby you can walk in for free, but most people don't live that close to the beach.
The closes good beaches (aka sand beaches, rather than shell beaches or rocky intertidal beaches or mud flats) are 45 minutes from my old house, and they cost $45 to park. But if you just wanna hear the waves and search through tide pools and collect sea glass, we had a beach that was, like, 15 minutes from our house.

Thank you! Seems that I keep on making young fashionable girls going to the beach lately XD
To be fair, I live near the sea but the good beaches are one hour away and the parking fee is outrageous. I'm quite happy you can go there by train (whcih isn't free but still less than parking, and less crowded, because obviously everything everywhere is crowded).

Does that count like two 88? I have a 7 there and four 8's or two 88's
This is one 88 and 4 8's. Remember that 77 or 88 has to be the number itself, meaning that it does not count if they appear in another number (because then, that number is no longer 77 or 88, its whatever that number is lol). You still get the bonus for each individual 7 or 8, so the 88 would count as two prizes.
Yes yes, I have started trades but have not completed them yet! That is what I am currently working on. Some of you have a loooooot of stuff coming in your trades haha

I wish I looked that fashionable when I go to the beach!
I also wish I had a sleeve like that. >>
I've always wanted tattoos. But choice paralysis. x.x
I met my goal for this month's CC. Finished all of the Peony Headpieces.
I decided last minute that I'm going to try to get the Verla Wigs, so next month's goal is large. (400) But I'm hoping that I have the time to spare to meet it!
I only need 790 to get all of the remaining items I want from the CC. Obviously,
that will increase when new items are released, but I think I'm in a good spot!
^^
How about you, Kuuki?

Bad news: I missed the deadline to sign my daughter up at the nearby school.
Good news: We have a program here in my state that allows her to go to school online! It's called K12. It teaches you from Kindergarten through twelfth grade! And it looks like it'll send her the supplies she'll need.

I've heard of K12. I believe my cousin is in their homeschooling program. It requires a lot of work on the parent's part (my aunt can attest to that!), but many people really like it.
