@Lunar: Oh, definitely; I tend to obsess over my latest OCs, and my RL friend (who's a writer) always has to listen to it. XD But we share stories and help each other with ideas (er, well, I help her with ideas), so it's all good. >>b
I like Faris because he's such a fun character to have around. X3 A few days ago, I found out why part of his bangs were frizzled. When I first drew it, it seemed so right, though I had no idea what it meant. Then he told me that it was the result of a spell gone awry. The one who makes those kinds of mistakes is his childhood friend, Claudius, however, so this is a rather interesting/suspicious piece of information for me.
Don't you ever have those moments with your OCs?

this one that scares and confuses me...
I have! I have such a moment!!!
Foe example Jazz's (Jasem's) eyes are black + purple/violet/whatever-this-color-is-called. And it's NOT a natural color, but it IS possible. Do you know why? Because when one is bitten by a werewolf and the mutation happes (which is not necessary. it's like rabies, but the risk of infection is lower) the "victim" gets something from the person who has bitten him/her. Since it's a mutation, the genes are affected and the new werewolf gets some DNA of the one who turned them. My Jasem got the eyecolor. It's not natural for humans but is ok for werewolves and that one was a born werewolf. So her eyes are the result of changed DNA. Kind of a "gift", lol.
I'm just not sure whether I will have access to internet at that time or not. And I'm going to learn it only closer the end of May. So it's great you can help me just in case. XD

Huh, never thought about that for werewolves before. I always wrote about it as more of a, er, disease. XD Yeah, to me, being a werewolf is something like getting leprosy (going by Biblical times) or AIDs --lycanthropy isn't something deadly, however, since it's considered a sickness, there's a lot of social bias and issues connected to it. In my werewolf stories, the public is aware of them, and there are people for or against it, generally. There's talk about cures... it gets all political and pretty interesting to me. I was actually supposed to write about it with a partner, but I've no idea where s/he's gotten to now.

mika: hahaha i obsess over my favs, but during certian moments ill rotate. like i thin about a moment ago i obsessed over one i hadnt in a while, but i didnt realize why until a few days after. apparaently his bday had passed which i guess triggered something >>;;
i do that with mah neighbor! xD hahaha were wrting a story toegterh curretnly which contains on of my fav ocs~ who... somehow became the main character when he wasnt even suppsoed to be >>;;

this one that scares and confuses me...
In my world people have always been aware of werewolf existance and it led to various circumstances to the species. For a long time werewolves had been concidered like pets and/or slaves. They were specially bread by humans and this led to weakening of the species. But then it became possible to breed them with ordinary wolves by using drugs since the werewolf would never mate a wolf without having something wron with his brain. And this new blood made the species extremely strong. So strong that in a couple of decades the werewolves became "noble" and marriage between a human and a werewolf was a great honor for the human. However, werewolves were not happy about these kind of relations because there could be no children/cubs from it. Werewolf + human coulpes could not have children. The females of both species just did not get pregnant. But now as werewolves were no longer slaves, but masters now, they became very picky about heirs. And they remembered all the sufferings and humiliation they had to experience for centuries, so they were not happy about accepting humans in their noble families. But love did happen sometimes, we all remember Romeo and Juliet. XD
Oh and I forgot to tell that human-werewolf breeding was possible before that major wave of pure wolf blood introduced into the species.
And the bitten humans who become werewolves can have no children either. Mutants don't give birth to children...

Aha, if I look over my old stories, I will obsess over my older characters too. I like Toby a little too much... enough not to want to take the Sue test with him (though in reality, he's not that outstanding a character...)
LOL, I always forget my OC's birthday; it's okay! *pats back* I think the only person who's really consistent with it is Ocean. X:
Oh, that sounds neat. My friend likes to write stories with us as characters. I don't really feel comfortable being someone all cool or badass in a story though, so I have her write me off as the silly one. XD;
Yeah, if I force things out of my OCs, it generally doesn't end as well as it would if I let them go at their own pace. I like to think that my OCs are alive, in a sense. They can do things I can't do, and think in ways that are different than me. It's pretty fun to have a variety.
@Alice: Sounds like quite a history. In my witch stories, witches and wizards can't bear children either. :X I think having some disadvantages like that is a good thing. >>b

mika: haha i just obsess randomly. =] depending hwo im feeling. sadly.. i think for a good chunk of time i practically made myself fall for my own character... i had to reprimand myself for it... =^=
haha, thats... kidna what we did.. well how our story satrted anyways, as us, just slightly differnt appearances and such, but they were us. and WE were the main characters.... but somehow xero became the main >> damn him..... and my charra (me) ends up dyign!! WTH!!! grrrr...
but yeah, doesnt it feel odd when you try to make yourself seem cool and utterly fail in shaem when someone realzies thats suppsoed to eb you! xD ahhaha

where as the main people suffer a lot, mroe or less, and theres usually a lot of deceit, death, and betrayal.

As for disadvantages, I think intesified senses are quite a disadvantage sometimes. Like for Jasem's nose it's a tragedy that she's a perfumer's assistant's assistant. XD
Do you HAVE her write you as the silly one? I mean she's tied to the chair and you are walking around her with an iron and like "I won't free you unless you write me as a silly on ein this passage"? XD
By the way a MarySue test is also a good subject for a semi-weekly topic. My Jazz got 19 or 20 the first time, and took it again in two weeks and got 8. So we're really proud of improvement. *shines*

but also, in the low ones, it is stated that yo could add more to the character. thats why i value the level 2 as great bcs 1 kinda says theyre boring everyday person -w- how cruel... but the 3 says your treading into sue territory... so i say 2 is safe =]
