is there a limit of how much a wild knuffel leveling can earn a day? because just now none of my 4 wild knuffels that leveled up gave any food to me. it literally wrote 0 food in the popup info about level up...
did i miss some info that covers it?

Yes, it was changed recently. They give fp every second time they level up. You can read about it in Firn's post here:
