Ah it was a good thing for him, but he got super drunk last night and has dry heaved twice now. :mcsad: :mcmeh: I have a bad phobia to do with vomiting, even when others are. Though he warns me beforehand and apologises. So I can put music on really loudly so I can't hear and try to stop any potential panic attacks.

Hope it's going to go well for you.

Oh, I see. Well, at least he warns you about it.

Well he's better now. XD and the rest of my day was pretty good.

yes he does it so I don't get more panicked if he just runs off to the bathroom

That's really cute.
I remember the one and only time my BF got drunk enough to go run in the bathroom, he didn't tell me anything and just ran away and I admit it was a bit worrying.

At the same time I know full well when he's going to come home drunk and I'm really happy he knows his limits enough to avoid having to run to the bathroom.

By the way, only one week of classes left and I'm on vacation, yeaaah!

well Peter's weight dropped a bit...so his tolerance has changed a bit.

I think his weight is chopping and changing though because we'd been eating bit more junk again. :mcheh: Which is why I think it was dry heaves rather than well full on vomit.

Ah my phobia is super bad about it. I had two panic attacks about a month ago from his drunk night out. Wasn't fun that but he made it up to me.

I also just don't quite get the whole, going to drink so much I throw up.

oh yay vacation :)

I went ahead and changed my avi now as well. I was getting really bored of the one I had and I also wanted to play around with a new item.
I wonder what Kyan is doing? I hope everything's alright!

How's everyone doing?
I'm back from a small weekend getaway and that place there had no wi-fi and no signal. Think I couldn't manage for over two days c:

Good morning, everyone! How are you all doing today?

Today I'm working on cover letters, resumes, and job applications, while Momma rids the house of the sudden mice infestation caused by a huge storm last night and the loss of her cat the night before. And C is probably going to spend the day working, whenever he decides to wake up. >> That boy.
I'll probably take a break around 3 to take a walk in the sunshine around the neighborhood. I miss the sunshine, and being active, and having me-time - three things that are hard to come by when you work from home.
Tonight we are probably going to make a roast and eat the angel food cake we made for Momma last night for her birthday. We were way too stuffed with tacos to have it last night. x.x
What about you all? What are your plans for the day?

Hey Kyan, can we change our avatars yet? I have a new hair I want to try out so badly...

Good morning Fire! (Although for me it's more afternoon/evening ;))

I'm working on writing a cheat sheet for an upcoming exam - we are allowed to take one sheet of A4 paper with notes on both sides. I hate when it's such a small limit... Although it's better than nothing at all. And I'm good at writing in tiny :D
But the lecture is one that I didn't really like, so I'm dragging along and procrastinating. I wanted to finish this today, but that's not going to be realistic, I'm afraid.

Good luck for your job applications! What kind of jobs are you aiming for? The web development you've been teaching yourself or something in your original field?
Your Momma lost her cat the night before her birthday? That sounds horrible! Be sure to give her extra many hugs...
What is angel food cake? It sounds tasty, cake is almost always tasty! :)

I know what you mean about working from home... I really want to finish my studies and get a job that will allow me to have guilt-free free time when I come home in the evening. When you're studying, there's always something that you should be doing, and since you're doing all of it just for yourself, there's no way of saying "now is not the time I'm supposed to work on it".
It's tiresome, mentally...

Right now I'm looking for temp jobs in my field. 1 year or less contracts. Conservation commissioners, aquaculture technician, marine biologist, ecological field technician, environmental scientist, earth and science research technician, wetland scientist and natural resources specialist, and environmental studies positions and the like. Looking into maybe putting a down payment on a house, getting real people jobs for a year, flipping a house or two, then continuing on traveling. As much as we hate the idea of not traveling for a year, momma needs money.

Good luck on your exam, Chrizine! I always hated those cheat sheets - great to have, but the space limit was killer! I have naturally large hand writing, so I always got hand cramps trying to fit it all in. x.x What is the exam on, if you don't mind my asking?

Yeah, the problem with working from home is that you can always be doing more, so every moment you don't spend working you're guilty about, even though it's important to have a work and leisure balance. Add that to perfectionism, procrastination, and workaholic tendencies, and it results in a bad time. x.x I'm still adjusting...
