I hope that your dentist appt went well, Kuuki! And that the heatstroke stays away for good! That doesn't sound good at all! Is it normal to get heatstroke that often where you are?

Ooh, school break! How exciting! Any fun plans for the break? Other than enjoying not being in school, that is. ;)

The job hunt continues for me! I have a half dozen more applications, cover letters, and resumes to work on, then I am going to re-start my process. ^^ I didn't exhaust all of my options looking for openings - I just did a brief search and found a dozen or so, so once the first round is done I'll go back and do a more in-depth search. <3 Hopefully I'll start getting bites soon!

It's a lovely day outside - sunny, warm, with a cool breeze. All the birds are singing. It's gorgeous! So I'm sitting in the sunshine with the window open, drinking chamomile tea and eating some sugared grapefruit for breakfast, while Momma and C are at the doctors. Once we get the results back from this MRI, we'll know what we're dealing with treatment-wise - whether the surgery will be an outpatient lumpectomy or an inpatient mastectomy, whether she'll need twice a day radiation treatment for a week, once a week radiation for a month, or chemo, etc. etc. So she's a bit tense today. But I'm optimistic that we'll hear great news back from the doctors, and it will be a simple procedure! <3

I'm taking this time alone to get some work done, since I have a hard time working when she's around. She's such a love, and she's always got such interesting things to talk about, but I'm easily distracted and she's a chatterbox, so it's hard to get work done. ^^; Plus, it's much easier getting house work done when they aren't around, since it's a tiny house. Vacuuming, dishes, four loads of laundry... today is going to be a busy day! Thank god the sun is lifting my spirits! :D

Hello Rebecca! Long time no see! How have you been?
Yes, it looks like Kyan has just been a little busy this past week or so. I'm sure she'll come back soon. ^^ Hopefully life has swept her off her feet with something amazing, and she'll have lots of fun stories to share when she gets back!

There have been a few hiatuses, but only two people have left, as far as I know. Deja is thinking about leaving, and Agito is currently giving away all of her items in a charity since she is leaving permanently. A shame, since both are such lovely people. </3

I've taken many hiatuses myself over the years, especially during uni, but I could never leave for good. Too many friends here. I grew up with a lot of these people. I could never leave. Besides, I value Firn and Starkard too much to abandon their site. I want to continue to support them in their endeavors! It's such a lovely community they've built here, with such lovely art. I want Kofk to continue to thrive!

I am in LOVE with the new pack, as well as the hair from three out of the four new recolors of the Lace Agate set. >> Figures I want one item from each set. Boo. If I were to get all of the hairs I wanted from this update, I'd need 5 FC. ; A; I wish re-selling separates was easier...

Heatstrokes happen on a daily basis, we even get heatstroke forecast with the weather. It's always at high levels lately.
My body isn't equipped yet to deal with this, it's getting better, at least my symptoms are getting less and less annoying and scary, I usually get by these days with a general dizziness.
I have only had light symptoms twice this year so I guess I'll manage. Somehow.

As for my appointment it went well, the tooth that hurt me doesn't hurt anymore. The bad news is that I'm going to need to be put under full anesthesia to treat that particular tooth, but that's a story for another day. I can't do it now anyway.

I had strange dreams this time too. XD Maybe it's catching.

Ugh! This heat sucks.

I just realized that "take out" means food, dating, and murder. And if you were a female praying mantis you'd have all three.

It's indeed not fun at all but you learn to live with it and take measures to avoid having it happen to you.

And I agree with Death Candy, the heat sucks, it sucks a lot.

I spent most of my afternoon taking a nape and now my body feels a bit strange.
At the same time I'm thinking that sleeping so much means my body needed it so I don't really regret it either.

And now I need to fill some papers and I hate this.
