I'm too lazy to read everything and I admit I didn't read everything about the wild knuffles before adopting one ... I am disappointed that they don't dig. I "adopt" knuffle to dig and help me fulfill quests. Since the wild knuffle can't, I'm sorry, but is there a way to give it away or release it?

Crazymuch - Yes. Just click on the particular knuffel from your quickfeed page and you will see a red X top right of the knuffel image. Click that and you can confirm that you want to release it. However, unlike regular knuffel, you won't get any food back.
