I don't do fandom RPs anymore out of personal preference
but I've written abusive relationships before
and have no problem with those

Heh, all I've ever done these last years were fandom RPs. xD

Last non-fandom RP I've ever done was...oh wow I think 2004 when I mostly did slave RPs loll xD

The last I did with RPing was OC related
and I've just continued writing it by myself
that's what I've been doing these days

If I don't think I know the character enough to play them I won't
because I don't want to play the character out of character
Like I said it's a personal preference v_v

Heheh, n'ah it's all good. I could try writing it out myself to tide me over until either someone does answer or I just fall out of the mood. Which ever comes first. xP

While it's fun writing things myself (and having control of the story)
I do miss the unpredictability I got from RPing with someone else
even if at times it was incredibly frustrating because I want the story
to move in one direction while she wants it to move in another
or her character won't take the hint my character is throwing out
so the conversation comes out really awkward

I'm going through all sorts of places to look for the rating rules of how far and obscene you can go RPing in the forums on KofK. I'll be on the safe side and say what I want is not appropriate on here?

most sites abide by the PG-13 rule

Ahh, the control issue of RP is part of why I've never really done much of it. ._.;; That, and (perceived?) lack of ability to go back and just... add or change things...?

That's why as odd as it is I'm going back and re-typing an old RP
I plan on doing it in a visual novel style with choices
so if something sounds awkward I plan on fixing it

in such a way doing it in this style allows for different paths
because it gives me an excuse to write stuff I wouldn't have gotten to write
Character x has a crush on character y but character y has a crush on character z
Canonly y and z get together and x gets with another character completely
but I can write an instance where x and y get together

This also allows me to write a lot of depressingly sad endings
where characters die, go insane, and end up in emotional torment
because I like to write those things from time to time
