Yeah, absolutely. When things are that bad, it's not like you can just "get over it."
I completely understand your frustration. I have people in my extended family
that invalidate mental illness and totally lack open-mindedness or empathy.
It gets really hard to communicate with them on important issues
because I don't agree with them on a fundamental level.
I don't blame you at all for wanting to distance yourself from her, everything considered.
I can only hope she opens herself up to understanding mental health.
