I don’t have much of a choice lol, i can’t throw a hissy fit at every phone i get or have to make lol.

Yeahhhh just don’t kill the phones at my workplace. Everywhere else, yes. Here, no. XD
That way, I’ll never get another phone call again. XD

I wish I could destroy phones. The one here keeps ringing... 90% of the time it's a scam call, 6% its one of mom's siblings, 4% its important doctor stuff...

We do have call display.

Half the scammers are spoofing important places caller IDs so caller ID no longer works. And the rest of the people don't even have their names attached to their phone numbers or are set to private callers.

Bob for example, he shows up as private caller

I have 7 aunts and 2 uncles.. We don't talk to one uncle so scratch him.
Most of them just show up as their phone numbers or 'caller PA" because they're calling from Pennsylvenia ... Only... 3 have their names attached to their numbers. =/


Then if you wanna take my cell as an example, Trakfone uses old phone numbers from someone else. If I called mom, it'd show up as Chris something ... not my name or number. xD


Caller ID has become obsolete for these reasons. =/

What I do. Let the damn phone ring and have the answering machine get it. If its important, answer it, if not, delete the message and forget it happened =w=

Scammers don't leave messages 70% of the time. Only the overly confident and/or desperate ones do. Those are easy to pick out tho. Just gotta erase them before mom can hear them. she's too gullible.

Lol I see. Yeah whenever a certain number appears in the call display, i know, without a shadow of doubt, that’s it most likely a call about duct cleaning. Cuz. They love to call. All. The. Time. XD;; and we answer them the same way each and every time lol. XD;;

But yeah sometimes the call display will announce a name i know but i don’t want to answer. Like there’s an automated voice trying to pronounce the displayed name. Or, if its unknown, it’ll list out the numbers. XD

Haha.. our automated voice for the house phone can't pronounce half the crap that pops up on the caller ID.. when its.. not numbers.. o3o, it says numbers just fine.


I just let the answering machine get it all.. =w=

I had to be on the phone with the aunt i like the least.... my stomach is killing me, my headache from yesterday is coming back, and mom keeps calling me out to her. =3=

Yeah some of the words, the automated voice can’t really say. Most things though, the automated voice does just fine. XD
