I don't think we've had a blackout for that long here

though a quite a few of the blackouts since I moved have been on purpose because of people running into power poles.

We had one that lasted a week. Had to put everything in the sink and stuff the sink full of ice. Luckily at that time we only had a few things in the fridge. Unlike now a days.

Ah
yeah if we leave the fridge shut it stays good so long as the blackout isn't more than a day

I finally found a major distraction for my daughter! Disney's Gargoyles!

That's good.

Yes. She's gets so distracted that she forgets about being hungry all the time. Man this kid's a bottomless pit. lol I'll feed her five minutes later she's back wanting more food. But with Gargoyles on, she's too distracted.

Sounds like me as a kid

my parents then put what foods they wanted me to eat so mostly veg, in the bottom section of the fridge (which was a upside down one so freezer on bottom) and all I could reach was the bit where the fruit and veg drawer was, so parents took that out and put plates of the food on it for me to eat.

I wish it was like that for me. She's big enough to get into everything.
