Sorry I wasn't on yesterday, it was my mother's birthday and we went to London to see the Phantom of the Opera. It reminded me of you a lot! You'd love the Phantom :D So macabre with that huge scar on his face...

looks really nice to me so far. :3 I'd probably make the flower print on her leggings the same as the darker parts of the petals and the lighter color for the rest of them. :3
Also, if Kazumi ever meets him she'll be wondering why he doesn't just change his tail to human legs. XD And she'll be a bit nervous since in most tales of merfolk, they eat humans to stay young, or at least in almost all the Japanese stories I've seen. x'D

Hmm.. Its a good question about Cael. But Cael isn't the kind of mer who lures people into their doom. There are mers who do that, but Cael is more of the "love", "Wishes" and Pearls part. He does have sharp teeth, but he's not the kind or mer who feasts on human beings. Or else he wouldn't have been let out so quickly.

The progress for now. Raven gets found due the accident. Since Raven is the kind of being that causes harm. While Hadna and Cael are more friendly ones. White Woman/Witt wieven have an interesting legend around them.
"Historically, the witte wieven are thought to be wise women, herbalists and medicine healers who took care of people's physical and mental ailments (wala in OHG). It was said they had the talent for prophecy and looking into the future. They had a high status in the communities, and so when they died ceremonies were held at their grave sites to honour them."
Following that text, Alrina saw what was coming. She was also a "product" of their project. She kind of was called back to confirm if they were doing it the right way, however.. She twisted the future by taking Raven away from them before they could even put something in him that would make them able to track him. While the other Genetics have that. Thats what makes Raven more unique. Its partially his awakening and Hadna's fault he got found. Genetics live untill their awakening/calling with normal humans.

And that change in the future is what also causes Kazumi to appear since different things will result when you change it. Since Kazumi is not a part of that world she ends up being dragged into the mess there. x'D Though I think the genetics in general will like her since she is a really nice person.
If someone explains that to Kazumi about Cael she'll be less nervous around him. XD Though she'll probably warm up to him quickly if she sees he doesn't have those kind of intentions. XD
Alrina sounds like someone Kazumi could become good friends with if they meet. XD Though with how much of the story I know, I don't know if she'll die before Kazumi goes to their world or not. :o

Don't worry, Alrina will be fine. But she went into hiding and the place is out side the city. I think they will be good friends indeed.
They will, however, there are more genetics then you think. Alrina was one of their first for example. Cael is quite distant and silent, Hadna has a quick temper but overally energetic and Raven is generally shy and playfull. But thats how they are in their young adult "phase".
I decided to give Alrina an element, Wind.

lol, I think they would baffle each other at first when Kazumi meets them. XD She'll be confused as to why they don't have certain aspects of the similar beings from her world, and they will probably be wondering what she is since there are things about her that's not part of being a genetic. XD

That will most likely happen. Especially between Cael and Kazumi.
Alrina would try to befriend her and explain it.
Hadna will just stare and observe..
Raven will hide behind Alrina/someone else.
But Cael and Kazumi will most likely have arguments.

You should see it ^_^ I haven't seen the film, but I heard that's pretty good too!
My mother came back from Brazil last year and she's here til later in the year when she's moving to Brazil, so it was a good time to celebrate her birthday with her :) It's been years since the last time I got to celebrate it with her!
I can't wait to see your odd drawing!! :D
